Happy New Year! 19 Holistic Health Tips to Kickstart Your 2019!

It’s 2019. Let’s take the best care of ourselves ever! Living a holistic lifestyle can seem daunting or overwhelming, at first. But it doesn’t have to be! Evolution takes time. Pick a couple of these holistic tips to try at a time. Be gentle with yourself. You’re on your way to the next level of you!
1. Start the day with a 3 item gratitude list.
2. Make your bed right when you get up.
3. Ditch your coffee first thing in the morning and drink a cup of warm water with some lemon instead.
4. Give yourself 10 minutes a day to clean your space. Do as much as you can as quickly as you can.
5. Come up with your own mantra each Sunday, and repeat it to yourself each day.
6. Implement a Meatless Monday in your diet.
7. Eat at least 1 vegetable and 1 fruit per meal per day.
8. Listen to a podcast during your commute.
9. Hop off the train/bus a few blocks before your destination or park towards the end of the parking lot to get some extra steps in your day.
10. Take your lunch break. Enjoy it.
11. Use a recyclable grocery bag at the store.
12. Cook most of your meals at home.
13. When eating, take 3 deep breaths between each bite.
14. Replace your soda with kombucha.
15. Allow yourself at least 1 hour of play and creativity time per day.
16. Do something kind for someone else at least once every day.
17. Lay your gym clothes out the night before so you could workout first thing in the morning.
18. Read a book or listen to an audio book instead of watching tv the last 30 minutes before bed.
19. Silence your phone each night, before bed.
